Wireless internet access for guests now faster than ever

- News, Accommodation

Great news for all the travellers out there: we have upgraded our internet access speed from a 2mbps line to a 10mbps uncapped line. Our guests can now enjoy this access at no additional cost and without any limitation.
Rhulani is recognized as a private and traditional bush lodge, where our guests can get away from their everyday lives, take a break from stressful work, and disconnect from constant communication.

It is amazing that today it is possible to install such a stable and fast internet connection in the midst of the bush.

All of our guests find it to be a fascinating experience, instead of hearing music in the back ground, listening to the crackle of a boma fire, instead of artificial lights on the ceiling to admire the sparkling sky and instead of a television in the room, to enjoy the clear view of the Africa nature.

Rhulani deliberately keeps this unique atmosphere, but at the same time we are aware that nowadays access to internet is expected by guests of a 5-star-establishment and is considered as normal like brushing your teeth.

The installation of a wireless internet access (including telephone in all rooms) last year has brought us wonderful complements and happy guests.

"It is amazing that today it is possible to install such a stable and fast internet connection in the midst of the bush, which by the way works over a satellite link," says Rhulani's owner Rolf Steiner. "But the world progresses very quickly and we will of course keep up with the changes.”

This is another step in our ongoing activities to promote Rhulani as one of the top safari lodges in Southern Africa.
