On the 12 March 2025 the South African Minister of Finance announced the increase in Value Added Tax (VAT) from 15.0% to 15.5%, valid from 1 May 2025. Rhulani Safari Lodge has decided not to pass on this tax increase to our customers and to keep our tariffs unchanged.

Our accommodation rates are always VAT inclusive and can be viewed here: https://www.rhulani.com/accommodation-rates
As of May 1, these rates will now include 15.5% VAT instead of 15.0%. This change will therefore have no impact on our customers, either for already confirmed reservations or for future bookings.
