As every year, we received a visit from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) in November to renew Rhulani’s star grading. We are delighted to inform you that the 5-star seal of approval has been renewed with a top result. We achieved 95 out of 100 possible points, by which we are well above the minimum required limit for the highest rating level.
In Rhulani, the golden plaque with the 5 stars continues to hang on the wall at the entrance and welcomes our guests, which is nothing new. More interesting is to see what is written in the detailed assessment report. It says that “Rhulani is running at an extremely high occupancy level which is due to amongst others the dedicated management team that continue to strive for service excellence under the watchful eye of the new manager, Mr. Tom-Hendrik Basson, making everyone's visit a memorable one”.
The solar system, which ensures the stability of the energy supply, and the cleverly placed observation hide right next to the watering hole, which creates a unique place for photographers and therefore gave us an additional "Bird Accolade", were specifically mentioned among the strengths.
We are pleased that all our investments in infrastructure, service quality and employee development are seen and appreciated, and that we will be able to show our achievement to all safari lovers who will choose Rhulani in the future as their safari destination.
