Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.
We sometimes make interesting discoveries at the Rhulani Safari Lodge, as our 8-year-old guest Luca does today. He discovered a so-called "foam nest frog" on top of a picture frame, which has been nesting there for a few days. How did this frog get up there? We definitely need an expert.
Foam nest frogs have discs on their toes, and their outer two fingers are widely spaced and nearly at a right angle to their inner two fingers on each hand. This makes it possible for them to climb vertically up tree stands and walls, like this one here, which is doing very well on the picture frame.
I'd kiss a frog even if there was no promise of a Prince Charming popping out of it. I love frogs.
As great as this discovery is, our young guest Luca still doesn't like the frog, but the frog is not disturbing and protects us from insects, so we leave him there.
Stay tuned for the next episode on 28 July when we have a look at the control board of the solar system.
