Nosa and Willem: Two long-standing employees promoted to Assistant Manager
Rhulani Safari Lodge announces that two long-standing and highly qualified employees have been promoted to Assistant Manager. These are Valencia Nokane, former bar lady and front of house employee, also known as "Nosa," and Willem Nel, field guide and head of maintenance. We congratulate them both on their promotions and wish them much success in their new responsibilities.
Nosa first joined our team in September 2018, as a bar lady, and immediately captivated her colleagues and guests with her warm smile. After the difficult period of the pandemic and the return to normal operations, Nosa increasingly became involved in guest service from the front of house and also worked as a reservationist and lodge anchor.
Willem joined us as a young, helpful, and extremely charming field guide, showing our guests the beauty of the African bush with his brilliant knowledge and respect for nature. Later, Willem got more involved in marketing activities and also took on maintenance responsibility, ensuring that Rhulani is always in good condition and that all routine work is carried out according to the manual and schedule.
For Rhulani's manager Tom-Hendrik Basson, the two promoted are a welcome relief and distribution of responsibility across more shoulders.
