Did you know that elephants are particularly good at peeling and chewing the bark off stumps during droughts when there is no juicy food? Rhulani's ranger Dean tells us today about this eating habit of the largest inhabitants of Madikwe, and he also tells us that tusks can be damaged or even broken off during eating.
